According to the University of Connecticut, more than 90% of gambling patients admitted that they gambled at some point in their lives. In fact, 42% had gambled within the past week. Approximately 8.1% of online gambling patients had done so during their lifetime. The research was carried out in the US. The findings were interesting, as many people have become addicted to online gambling for various reasons.
